On the border between France and
Italy there is a network of old military and ancient commercial roads
that cross the alps long before cars and motorcycles were invented.
This network is now available for us to enjoy on foot, by bicycle and
by motorcycle. These, now minor dirt roads, go through some amazing
alpine scenery and at greater altitude than the sealed passes. We've put together
TWO 5 day adventure motorcycle tours that cover the "Via
del Sale" (salt road), some of the finest dirt roads in the
Maritime Alps, and a loop ride in the Olympic Valleys, inclusing roads
like the Jafferau, the Assietta, the Sommeiller, but many other
stunning smaller trails.
